Cathodic protection cables are part of cathodic protection systems. It sends the current from the cathodic protection system to the metal structure to stop it corroding. Cathodic protection cables are connected to the cathodic protection system and transmit current to the metal structure, forming a protective current field to prevent corrosion.

These cables are employed for the interconnection of transformers and the current regulator of airfield lighting systems in series circuits. They are suitable for fixed applications, including taxiways, runways, touchdown zones, land and hold short lighting systems. Installation is possible in conduit, duct, aerial and direct burial. There are three models available for selection.

    The 6941X is a type of PVC cable used for cathodic protection. This product is used in cathodic systems to protect against corrosion.

The conductor is a soft annealed stranded copper (per spec ASTM B-3 & B-8)
Insulation is black high molecular weight polyethylene (HMWPE)
